Your Tailor-Made Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival & Welcome in Tirana
You will be picked up from the airport, arrive at your 4-star hotel.
After a short exploration of the city, we will all have dinner together in the evening.
City Highlights:

Day 2: Explore Tirana City
After breakfast, Ornela will take you on a tour to explore Tirana. She will ensure that you visit the most important historical and cultural landmarks, including Bunk’Art museum and Tirana Pyramid.
After our city tour we continue to Durrës, Albania’s ancient port city, where we will have another guided tour to see the amphitheatre, the archaeological museum and stroll along the coastal walk at the Adriatic Sea.
Day 3: Berat – The City of a Thousand Windows
Berat is a UNESCO World Heritage site. We will have a guided tour to explore Berat Castle, Mangalem and Gorica Quarters and the the Onufri Museum.
The afternoon awaits at Pupa Winery, where you’ll experience traditional Albanian wines produced in the heart of Berat’s lush vineyards. Savor local varieties like Shesh i Bardhë and Shesh i Zi, accompanied by delicious local snacks.
You’ll have a free evening to explore the old town of Berat.
Day 4: Ardenica & Apollonia
Today, we will visit the Ardenica Monastery as well as the Apollonia Archaeological Park: Explore this ancient city founded by Greek colonists in the 6th century BC. Visit the Temple of Apollo, the Odeon, and the ancient walls, while your guide provides insight into the site’s history.
After another transfer we enjoy the evening at Vlorë, a vibrant coastal city.
Day 5: Vlorë & Llogara Pass
The Independence Monument and the Muradie Mosque are the two highlights of Vlorë, which you will experience with Ornela.
Our transfer will take us later to the stunning Llogara Pass, offering breathtaking views of the Ionian Sea and the Albanian Riviera as the road winds through the mountains.
We’ll continue to Sarandë, with free time in the evening to explore the city or relax by the sea.
Day 6: Saranda & Butrint – UNESCO World Heritage Site
Today, we will explore Butrint and Butrint National Park. Butrint is a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the most important archaeological sites in the Mediterranean. Explore the ancient Greek, Roman, Byzantine, and Venetian ruins, including the theater, basilica, and city walls.
This evening we will return to Sarandë. Enjoy an afternoon at leisure in this bustling seaside town. Take a stroll along the waterfront promenade, or relax on one of Sarandë’s beaches.
Day 7: Gjirokastër – The Stone City
After breakfast we will head towards Gjirokastër, another UNESCO World Heritage Site. The guided tour will take us to Gjirokastër Castle: A massive fortress with panoramic views of the city and the Drina Valley. We will also see the ethnographic museum and Skendull House for its architecture.
You will have a free evening to explore the winding streets of the old bazaar or enjoy a traditional dinner at a local restaurant.
Day 8: Return to Tirana via Tepelenë
On our return journey to Tirana, we are going to see theAli Pasha Tepelena Castle in Tepelenë, built by the infamous Ottoman ruler, Ali Pasha of Tepelenë, in the early 19th century.
We will reach Tirana in the afternoon and have free time to explore Tirana further or shop for local
souvenirs in the New Bazaar area.
Day 9: Tirana & Mount Dajti National Park
We will take you to the nearby Mount Dajti National Park for breathtaking views of the city.
In the evening we will have a farewell dinner at a traditional Albanian restaurant to end your tour on a high note.
Day 10: Departure
You will leave beautiful Albania and head to the airport after breakfast (depending on your flight).
