A Tour on the Royal Enfield Classic
Our adventure unfolds on the Royal Enfield Classic 350.
Royal Enfield is an iconic Indian motorcycle manufacturer and holds the title as the oldest motorcycle brand in continuous production since 1901. The Royal Enfield Classic 350 is more than just a bike – it’s a statement. With its signature retro design and rich, deep colours, it blends nostalgic charm with modern engineering.
What makes it so appealing?
With a low seat height of about 805 mm, the Classic 350 is ideal even for shorter riders. Despite its vintage look, the Classic 350 is very well balanced and easy to handle – whether you’re cruising through mountain roads, navigating village tracks, or riding in low-speed city traffic.
At around 195 kg, it does have some weight – but thanks to its low centre of gravity, it’s easy to control and feels stable on the road. The air-cooled 349cc single-cylinder engine isn’t made for speed – and that’s exactly its charm. It delivers a smooth, steady ride that’s perfect for cruising, slowing down, and truly taking in the Nepalese landscapes.
Your Guide
Judith
Our tour is led by Judith, a true outdoor enthusiast from Switzerland: “Whatever I do, I do it with conviction, passion, and full commitment!”
Born in 1969 in Lucerne, in the heart of Switzerland. After a bit of a rough start in life, she quickly discovered her love for the outdoors, whether it was on the farm, hiking in the mountains, climbing or skiing. And since 1990, she’s been riding motorcycles.
Judith has ticked off many destinations on her bucket list, including numerous countries across Europe, as well as Australia, and North, Central, and South America, but she’s far from done! There’s still so much to see, experience, and so many amazing people to meet.
“For the past few years, off-road motorcycling has become one of my hobbies, too. But what I love most is travelling. I’ve been down many paths: asphalt, gravel, sand, streams, rocks, snow, and mud. I’ve taken my fair share of tumbles and bruises along the way, but that’s all part of off-road riding. I’m tough and ready for many more adventures.”
Judith has turned her passion into a profession and is excited to guide you on your next challenge!
Your Travel Destination
Nepal – Where Heaven and Earth Meet
Tucked between India and Tibet lies a land where it feels like Mother Nature truly outdid herself. Nepal – a realm of towering snow giants, living temple legends, and untamed wilderness. A place where contrasts don’t just coexist, they thrive: jungles merge with glaciers, ancient deities meet buzzing modern life, and the scent of incense mingles with the damp earth high in the Himalayas.
Home to around 30 million people from more than 60 ethnic groups – each with their own language, traditions, and rhythms – Nepal pulses with a deep sense of harmony. Here, Buddhism, Hinduism, and nature-based beliefs intertwine to form a spiritual mosaic unlike anywhere else on Earth.
Since the 1950s, adventurers from around the world have been drawn to this mythical mountain kingdom – lured by the call of Everest, yet often captivated by so much more. Because Nepal isn’t just a destination. Nepal is a feeling.
And for those who dream not only of freedom but of riding it: welcome to a motorcyclist’s paradise. Winding roads, off-road trails, and views you’ll never forget.
Your Ride through Nepal
The tour is generally planned so that you depart from Europe on a Friday and arrive in Kathmandu the following day (Saturday).
The adventure begins on Sunday and runs through to the Thursday of the following week. That gives us 12 incredible days on the bike, riding a scenic loop through Nepal with breathtaking views along the way. The map gives you a rough idea of the route and main destinations we’ll explore together.
Friday is yours to enjoy as you please – relax, explore Kathmandu, or just soak in the experience before heading home on Saturday.

Your Tailor-Made Itinerary
Day 0: Departure from home
Today is considered Day 0, as you’ll be boarding your flight from your hometown the evening before, planning to arrive in Nepal the following day.
Day 1: Arrival & Welcome to Kathmandu
You’ll be picked up at Kathmandu airport and transferred to your accommodation.
Today is all about settling in and getting to know your fellow adventurers over a welcome dinner. We’ll also hold our first briefing about Nepal and the journey ahead.
Day 2: The journey begins with first curves towards Nagarkot
After a hearty breakfast, you’ll meet your bikes for the first time – the beautiful Royal Enfield Classics. Once they’re packed and ready, the tour kicks off!
We’ll take winding roads up into the hills and reach an altitude of 1,985 meters above sea level. On a clear day, Nagarkot offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Himalayas – including your first chance to spot Mount Everest!
Day 3: Tibetan Border Region or Royal City
Today is all about what you feel like doing. After breakfast, you can choose to take it easy, join us for a ride through the Tibetan border region, or explore the royal city of Bhaktapur.
Bhaktapur, the “City of Devotees,” is one of Nepal’s cultural highlights, featuring the UNESCO-listed Durbar Square and the impressive Nyatapola Temple.
Afterwards, we’ll return to Nagarkot for the night.
Day 4: Heading to Daman
Today we climb high – up to 2,500 meters above sea level, along one of the most beautiful roads in the world. Plenty of curves await us, and the stunning landscape is our reward.
Tonight’s accommodation is something special: cozy cottages with a lovely terrace and incredibly welcoming hosts.
Day 5: Curves & Jungle
Today promises a real ride! We’ll go even higher than the day before – reaching 2,600 meters – before descending dramatically into the Chitwan jungle, dropping down to just 200 meters above sea level.
This ride is nothing short of spectacular!
Day 6: Chitwan & Relaxation
After breakfast, it’s time for a break – and maybe a little adventure of a different kind. Check out the “Optional Activities” section for ideas.
You might go on a jeep safari, take a jungle walk, or try a dugout canoe safari. Or maybe just chill by the pool and soak it all in.
Chitwan National Park is home to Bengal tigers, one-horned rhinos, and elephants.
Day 7: Option - Outdoor Night or Resort Stay?
Today the group decides: Are we up for an outdoor night under the stars?
If yes, it’s sleeping bag time, all tucked in together under one big tarp. A true outdoor experience, often turning into a legendary night of laughter and bonding.
If not, we stay in Chitwan at the resort and enjoy more downtime – with the option to take the bikes for a spin through the jungle!
Day 8: Onward to Butwal
After breakfast, we continue our ride, getting closer to the Indian border (about 40 km away). Our route takes us through jungle roads to Butwal, a lively trade town rarely visited by international travellers. Get ready to be the highlight of the day!
Day 9: Day Trip to Lumbini
Today we visit Lumbini, the birthplace of Buddha. The peaceful Lumbini Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1997, awaits with its monasteries and serene atmosphere.
Day 10: Siddharta "Highway"
We enter subtropical terrain and ride the famous Siddhartha Highway through Palpa in southern Nepal – once part of the ancient Silk Road.
The Siddhartha Highway (NH47), or Siddhartha Rajmarg in Nepali, is full of curves and connects the Terai lowlands with the hill regions of Nepal.
We’ll arrive in Pokhara (600 m) for the night – proud of what we’ve conquered on the way.
Day 11: Day off in Pokhara
Time to breathe! Today is a rest day in beautiful Pokhara. Again, check the “Optional Activities” section for ideas.
You could try an ultralight flight, paragliding, kayaking, or join a day trip to the Begnas Valley.
Day 12: Curvy Roads to Bandipur
We head toward Bandipur (1,358 m), a peaceful hilltop town with rich Newari culture.
The ride takes us through forests and countless bends before we reach this nearly car-free town. It’s calm, beautiful, and offers stunning views of the Himalayas.
Day 13: Final Ride to Kathmandu
Our journey nears its end. We follow the Trishuli Nadi River back toward Kathmandu, riding through local villages. It is a perfect way to round off the tour.
If conditions allow, we’ll cruise through Kakani, a favourite spot known for its panoramic views. We’ll also pass through the lush Shivapuri National Park.
Day 14: Leisure Day in Kathmandu
One last day to explore Nepal’s capital at your own pace: visit markets, temples, or simply get lost in the vibrant buzz of Kathmandu.
Day 15: Breakfast & Departure
After breakfast, we head to the airport – time to say goodbye (for now).
If you have extra time, consider booking a scenic flight over Mount Everest!
Day 16: You're back home
Most return flights land the next day – so welcome back home on Day 16, full of memories and stories that will last a lifetime.
