Your Travel Destination
Tenerife, the enchanting island of eternal spring. This Canary Island oasis in the Atlantic Ocean welcomes you with a climate that remains mild and pleasant all year round.
The island showcases breathtaking landscape diversity, from the golden sandy beaches in the south to the majestic mountains in the north.
You will land either in the south or north and be driven to your accommodation in the north in Santa Ursula. The boots you see on the map represent our planned hiking destinations.
Other planned excursions include the charming town of Puerto de la Cruz and a possible beach day in Bollullo, near Puerto de la Cruz (fine black sand).
Your Accomodation
The beautiful Ocean Villa is located in the Acantilados de Acentejo Natural Park, offering incredible views of the coast, the Orotava Valley and Mount Teide. The beach is accessible via a approximately 500-meter walk, with a small path leading down from the villa to the beach. The centre of Santa Ursula is not far away, with several supermarkets and excellent restaurants.
The breathtaking views, the (heated) infinity pool, the barbecue area and attention to detail are the main features of this villa.
The accommodation is spacious with plenty of room and bright open areas, furnished in a modern style. The villa comprises 2 bedrooms with king-size beds, 1 bedroom with 2 single beds and a multi-bed room with 4 single beds. Not all rooms have en-suite bathrooms.
On the ground floor, there are bathrooms, the kitchen where we will cook for you, as well as the dining room, living room, terrace, infinity pool, barbecue with wood oven and an outdoor bathroom and shower on the terrace.
Note: In case the accommodation is unavailable, a similar accommodation will be chosen.
Your Tailor-Made Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival & Welcome
You will land at Tenerife South or North. Here, you will be picked up by us. After approximately 45 to 60 minutes of driving, you will reach your accommodation, the Villa Ocean in Santa Ursula.
Now it’s time to settle in: Enjoy the ocean view, settle into your rooms, treat yourself to a refreshing drink and get to know your fellow travellers over a delicious wine and dinner.
Day 2: Start of your Yoga and Hiking Programme

- Hiking in Orotava Valley (approx. 6km, ~3h)
- Group BBQ
The yoga session begins with an early introductory session led by our enchanting yoga instructor, followed by a delicious breakfast.
After breakfast, we head straight to our first hike in Orotava Valley. During breakfast, you can prepare your own packed lunch. Don’t forget to bring your own water bottle.
We’ll travel together by minibus towards Orotava Valley. Our hiking start is intentionally kept simple, allowing us to gauge our activity level.
We’ll pass through beautiful landscapes of trees and rocks. So, the first day of hiking starts leisurely with plenty of drink and snack breaks on the approximately 6km route. We’ll need about 3 hours.
Afterwards, a shared vegetarian/vegan barbecue event awaits you under beautiful pine trees, including beverages. It’s the perfect opportunity to get to know the travel group even better.
Before it gets dark, we’ll pack up and make our way back to the accommodation.
Day 3: Hiking in Teno

- Hiking in the Teno mountains (~4-5 hours, 300 meters altitude)
- Meditation/relaxing Yoga in the evening
- Dinner
The hike takes us along the two highest peaks of the Teno Mountains, where we will ascend about 300 meters in elevation. An impressive ridge trail with spectacular views over the Teno Mountains leads us to Risco Verde. On a clear day, the view down to Masca and the panoramic view of the Teno Mountains stretching all the way to Teide are unforgettable!
In the early evening, there will be a light yoga session followed by the obligatory self-cooked dinner.
Day 4: Yoga & City Tour

Today starts relaxed with a break from hiking. We’ll visit Puerto de la Cruz, a charming coastal town and our knowledgeable guide Nina will show you its highlights. We’ll also have the opportunity to have lunch at a nice restaurant.
Day 5: Hiking in Anaga

- Hiking in Anaga (approx. 8 km, ~5 h)
- Stop at a café
- Relaxed evening Yoga program
- Dinner
Your yoga instructor offers a beautiful morning programme.
After breakfast, we’ll set off again by minibus for hiking. Today, we head to Anaga. On the island of eternal spring, you’ll have the opportunity to see the local plant life in bloom. Your guide Nina can introduce you to some of the plants along the way.
In the early evening, we’ll return home for a relaxed yoga or stretching programme after the long hike, before transitioning to dinner.
Day 6: Beach Day

- Beach or self-guided exploration of the area

After our two previous hikes, it’s time for another break. Our morning routine starts with yoga followed by breakfast. Then, the day is yours to enjoy.
However, today you have the opportunity to spend the day with us at the beach. We offer to drive together to Bollullo Beach (fine black sand). Those who prefer can simply enjoy the villa or explore the area in Santa Ursula on foot.
Day 7: Hiking around Mount Teide

- Hiking around Teide (ca. 8km, ~5h)
- Early evening Yoga
- Dinner
Today we head to higher elevations. Hiking around Mount Teide on Tenerife is a remarkable experience and one of the most popular activities for nature and adventure lovers on the island. Mount Teide, standing at over 3,700 meters, is the highest peak in Spain and an active volcano, part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. The landscape around Mount Teide is breathtaking and diverse, ranging from barren lunar landscapes to lush forests.
In the evening, we offer a relaxed yoga and meditation program.
To conclude our journey, tonight we’ll prepare something special for you: Vegetarian paella. With delicious Spanish wine, we’ll toast to a fantastic group and a successful yoga and hiking trip.
Day 8: Departure

You’ll leave the beautiful Tenerife, with group transfers arranged depending on your flight times.
Your Yoga Teacher
Simona originally comes from Saarland, Germany, but has been living in Tenerife for three years. She is a certified yoga teacher in the Sivananda tradition, as well as an occupational therapist and massage therapist.
Simona loves the island of Tenerife, the dynamic interplay of the elements, and the diversity and beauty of its nature. After many years of traveling, she has found a new home here and supports people in reconnecting with themselves, finding balance, and enhancing their well-being.
Her yoga classes are well-balanced, tailored to the experience of the participants, and deeply relaxing.

Hiking in Tenerife
For nature and hiking enthusiasts, Tenerife offers a network of premier hiking trails.
The Teide National Park, home to Spain’s highest mountain, the majestic Teide volcano, reveals a surreal moonscape and grants spectacular views of the island and the ocean.
The hike in Teno gives a good view on Masca (good weather required), while the Anaga Rural Park in the northeast provides untouched laurel forests and breathtaking coastal views.
